Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist in the STSS, you will:
- Assess individuals' needs and develop tailored care plans to promote independence.
- Provide equipment, adaptations, and specialist seating solutions to meet unique needs.
- Support safe moving and handling practices with a focus on proportionate care.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic support.
- Promote strength-based approaches to care, empowering individuals to live their best lives.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Have a person-centred approach to care and a commitment to improving lives.
- Possess a good understanding of equipment and adaptation solutions.
