Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding short-term role? Kaerus Recruitment is working with a local service in Bath and North East Somerset to fill an important position within their Adult Social Care team.
Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Visit individuals in their homes to conduct moving and handling risk assessments.
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy assessments tailored to individual needs.
- Prepare detailed housing report assessments to support adaptations and improvements.
- Collaborate with clients, carers, and a multi-disciplinary team to develop effective care plans.
- Maintain accurate and professional documentation in line with service standards.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience conducting home visits and completing detailed assessments.
- Strong understanding of moving and handling best practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
